Traditional family business since 1919

Since 1919 the traditional house “Hotel Blume” is family owned.

From a simple village inn, the house developed over the years into a hotel with excellent cuisine known far beyond the borders.

Nowadays, the house is managed in the third and fourth generation by the families Thomas and Roland Müller with daughter Svenja Müller.

Over 100 years of history

1919

In 1919, the Hotel-Restaurant Blume was originally founded under the management of Franz and Ricarda Schäfer as a local inn with a grocery store.

In 1964 Rudolf and Paula Müller, the daughter of Franz and Ricarda Schäfer, took over the former inn. Until 1980 they remodelled the house several times and created space for the guest rooms in our present hotel.

1983

In 1983 the restaurant was completely destroyed by a fire but immediately rebuilt.

Finally, in 1991, the sons Roland and Thomas Müller took over the management of the house, and since then have carried out regular renovations and given the hotel its current polish.

2022

In 2022, Svenja Müller, the daughter of Birgit & Roland Müller, joined the company and is currently working as deputy managing director in the fourth generation.

We are looking forward to meeting you!

Our hotel has a total of 29 rooms in two separate hotel areas.

In our “Villa Paula” you will find 6 single rooms and 6 double rooms. This hotel wing was named after our senior director Paula Müller (2nd generation).

In our “Neubau” you will find the remaining 17 rooms, which have all been completely renovated in 2019.
